Our Team

Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium is family owned and operated by Kelly and Lori Hiatt. Kelly and Lori have 3 grown children and ten grandchildren.

In November 2006, Kelly and Lori had to euthanize and cremate their six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, Jesse. Through this experience they had the desire to help others through the difficult process of losing a beloved pet. They moved from Utah and joined Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium in 2007 and in 2009 became the sole operators. Kelly and Lori along with their children, have owned and loved animals their entire lives. They are devoted to their pets. In July 2014 they lost their rescued ShihTzu Zen to liver disease and now have a new rescued MinPin/Chi mix from Denkai Animal Sanctuary and Mini who accompanies them to work every day. They feel it is a privilege and honor to help families during their time of need.

Lori Hiatt

Lori’s background is business administration, working in both the business and medical fields. In addition to helping Kelly run the day to day operations she also handles the financial and management of Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium. She cherishes the opportunities she has to interact daily with clients and helping them through the difficult process of losing their pets. Kelly and Lori have two furkids at home, a Miniature Russian Toy Terrier named Rudy and a beautiful Chihuahua name Mini that joined their family after Lori’s mom passed away.

Kelly Hiatt

Kelly’s background includes 37 years in retail and management, which gives him the necessary experience to run the detailed operations of owning a pet crematorium. Kelly is a “Certified Crematory Operator” as well as a “Certified Pet Loss Professional” with both of these designations through the PLPA (Pet Loss Professionals Alliance). Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium is a proud member of both the PLPA and the ICCFA (International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association).

As a team they ensure that your beloved pets are handled with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Every pet that comes into Rainbow Bridge is treated like they are one of our own.

Shallyse is Kelly & Lori’s oldest daughter and after moving to Colorado in October 2012 was asked by her parents to join them at Rainbow Bridge as the full-time receptionist. When Shallyse is not working for Rainbow Bridge or taking care of her husband and two daughters and her favorite hobbies, food (particularly cooking) and photography.  They share their home with their yellow lab, Dobbie and Ragdoll cat, Persnikitty.

Stephanie joined Rainbow Bridge in May of 2017 as our Manager and is already a huge asset to our business.  Stephanie has extensive experience in retail and customer service.  She has the customer service mindset that is so invaluable in this industry and is quickly learning everything there is to know about the Pet Memorial Business.  Stephanie has two adult children, two grandchildren, with a third on the way, and one fur baby named Otter.

Kelly Williams joined the Rainbow Bridge team in July 2013 as a overnight crematory technician. His background is animals and reptiles and he thoroughly enjoys what he does here and is committed to taking care of our clients four legged family members. When he is not working he is dedicated to being a daddy to his two little girls and taking care of his family. He is married and they have an Italian Greyhound named Sugar.

Luke joined the Rainbow Bridge team in September 2018 as a crematory technician.  Luke was born in Colorado but grew up in Texas and attended Electrical Engineering courses at Texas Tech University.  He recently moved back to Colorado with his girlfriend and we are thrilled to have him as part of our team.  Luke is very detailed oriented and has a great love for animals.

Shannon joined our team in 2015 as a full-time paw print specialist.  She left for a short period of time to pursue another position, but soon came back as a part-time paw print specialist because she loves helping ease the pain of losing a beloved pet.  She loves making paw prints and creating cherished memories for our families.

Shannon is a former stay-at-home mom of 3 daughters who are now grown. She was seeking part-time employment with kind, honest and fun-loving people. The best part of her day is seeing her co-workers and knowing that “We are all part of a fantastic family working for a great employer”.

Orville used to be Kelly and Lori’s next door neighbor and is a driver for Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium, joining the team in January 2013. Orville is retired and decided he was tired of being bored during the day and asked Kelly and Lori if they needed any part-time help. His timing was perfect and he now spends his days driving to the various clinics that Rainbow Bridge services from Franktown to Cheyenne and Estes Park to Fort Morgan.

Karen joined Rainbow Bridge in December 2017 as a driver.  She is semi retired, having worked many years for Waste Management and wanted something to do part-time.  Karen is a huge pet lover, having a special place for Boston Terrier’s, Lucy, Marley and Cooper.  She loves the opportunity she has to drive to different areas and really enjoys being able to offer superb customer service to our clinics.

Daisy joined Rainbow Bridge in May of 2018 as a driver and crematory assistant. She loves the variety of her position, as she never gets bored.  She shares her life with her Chow X named George that she recently rescued.

Christi joined Rainbow Bridge in June of 2018 as a driver and paw print specialist. Christi has worked in the vet field for many years, as kennel technician and kennel manager.  She was extremely thrilled to join our team as it is an area that she has a true passion for.  She takes her responsibility as a paw print specialist very serious.  She knows from experience what a precious memento a paw print can be to our families.

Sae joined our team in January 2019 as a driver / paw print specialist and recently was promoted to Crematory Technician but still drives and does paw prints two days a week.

Sae has two dogs, Bishop, a heeler mix and Mercedes, a border collie mix. He has two cats, Valkyrie and Snap, three horses and a gaggle of exotics.

Sae likes working for Rainbow Bridge because the work is interesting, there is never a dull day and no two days are exactly the same.  He likes the thought that he is helping people. He says the best part is his co-workers as they make even the roughest of days easier.

Sae has a BFA in illustration from RMCAD, an MFA in illustration from SCAD and worked with at-risk youth in a quasi-military program run by the National Guard for 2.5 years prior to coming to Rainbow Bridge.

Hannah joined our team in April 2019 as a paw print specialist.  She picked up the process immediately and takes great pride in the paw prints she makes for our families.

Hannah has two Basset/Blue Heeler mixes named Spot & Piper, and her two rats named Jett & Jasper which she rescued from a local reptile store.  She is all too familiar with pet loss being a lifelong rat mom.  She says she knows how hard it is to lose a beloved pet and she is beyond honored to be a part of the Rainbow Bridge team.  She strives to treat each and every animal with the love and respect they deserve as they journey from this world to the next.

Hannah is currently attending FRCC with plans to transfer to UNC in the fall of 2019 to study Psychology.
