Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium is family owned and operated by Kelly and Lori Hiatt. Kelly and Lori have 3 grown children and ten grandchildren.
In November 2006, Kelly and Lori had to euthanize and cremate their six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, Jesse. Through this experience they had the desire to help others through the difficult process of losing a beloved pet. They moved from Utah and joined Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium in 2007 and in 2009 became the sole operators. Kelly and Lori along with their children, have owned and loved animals their entire lives. They are devoted to their pets. In July 2014 they lost their rescued ShihTzu Zen to liver disease and now have a new rescued MinPin/Chi mix from Denkai Animal Sanctuary and Mini who accompanies them to work every day. They feel it is a privilege and honor to help families during their time of need.
Lori’s background is business administration, working in both the business and medical fields. In addition to helping Kelly run the day to day operations she also handles the financial and management of Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium. She cherishes the opportunities she has to interact daily with clients and helping them through the difficult process of losing their pets. Kelly and Lori have two furkids at home, a Miniature Russian Toy Terrier named Rudy and a beautiful Chihuahua name Mini that joined their family after Lori’s mom passed away.
Kelly’s background includes 37 years in retail and management, which gives him the necessary experience to run the detailed operations of owning a pet crematorium. Kelly is a “Certified Crematory Operator” as well as a “Certified Pet Loss Professional” with both of these designations through the PLPA (Pet Loss Professionals Alliance). Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium is a proud member of both the PLPA and the ICCFA (International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association).
As a team they ensure that your beloved pets are handled with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Every pet that comes into Rainbow Bridge is treated like they are one of our own.
