Rainbow Bridge started as an idea.  We both met at a dog show and shared our ideas of wanting to be in the dog business.  We never imagined ourselves owning a crematorium but we both realized there is a need to help people with the loss of a their beloved pet.  Who better to identify with the loss than two people who have gone through it (multiple times) and understand the significance. Rainbow Bridge provides cremation and memorial services to people who have lost their pets.  We can handle any size pet from one that weighs only ounces to a 200 pound great dane.  We pride ourselves on treating the animal with respect and dignity and can scatter or return ashes per the owner's request.
We can return ashes within 24 hours and have many memorial products including urns, jewelry, tiles, etc. We also offer memorial services tailored to the customer's needs.  We also offer grief counseling by professional Certified Family Nurse Practitioners who both have a great deal of experience counseling. Our goal is to provide more than just the cremation -- we want to help the animal and the owner through the entire process.

Pam Gale Founder

I have loved animals all of my life.  As a child I raised guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, dogs, etc.  I started in 4-H and actually won the state fair with my obedience dog. I went to college in Laramie, Wyoming and originally started out to be a vet. Due to many reasons I changed my major to nursing and ended up at Arizona State University with a Master's Degree and a Post-Masters which allowed me to practice as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. About 10 years ago I re-entered the "dog world" and began showing and breeding Irish Setters and miniature dachshunds.  My daughter shows dogs with me and together we have traveled fairly extensively around the country. We have met so many wonderful people and have truly become enmeshed in the world.
About 14 months ago were at a show in Nebraska when when my daughter introduced me to her friend and her mother.  We realized how much we had in common as we are both Family Nurse Practitioners and both enjoy breeding and showing dogs. After many long conversations we decided to open a "dog" business together. Neither one of us ever dreamed of opening a crematorium but it didn't take long for us to realize that we could fill a gap for pet owners when they suffer a loss. With our medical/counseling training we can truly help the pet owner deal with such a huge loss as well as take care of their animal with dignity and respect.  And, as they say, the rest is history...
